The best part of Christmas is undoubtedly the countdown and now that it’s finally December, the countdown has begun! To get us in the Christmas spirit, we have the 12 days of (Christmas) Photography.
1. The Weather Outside is Frightful
Photograph the cold outdoors for the first day of your Christmas Photography challenge.
If it's not snowing where you are, get some fake snow and do some portraits like this one by Darius Krause.
Or find the perfect winter wonderland like this photo by Trang Pham.
2. Christmas Decorations
My Christmas decorations go up the first weekend of December, but a lot of people can't wait that long!
The decorations are up in the town centre and the shops are full of tinsel and novelty Christmas ornaments.
Check out this simple yet festive photo by Kristina Paukshtite.

3. Christmas Sales
Who doesn't love a good bargain at Christmas?
These photos by Any Lane and Muffin Creatives show my favourite part of Christmas - Christmas shopping!
4. The Traditional Ugly Christmas Jumper
You're not celebrating Christmas right if you don't have a Christmas jumper. Bonus points if it's a particularly ugly one.
These jumpers in the photo by Rodnae Productions are just amazing!

5. Christmas Party
Whether it's a small family gathering on Boxing Day, or the dreaded Secret Santa party at work, Christmas parties are an essential part of Christmas.
We're inspired by these three photos by Inga Seliverstova and Ekaterina Bolovtsova.
6. Family
Let us know who you're celebrating Christmas this year with a photo!
We just love this photo by William Fortunato

7. Festive Treats
It's not Christmas without some festive food.
Get inspired with these photos by Ekaterina Bolovstova, Rafael Titoneli, and Laura James.
8. Gift-Wrapped
Show us your wrapping skills - or lack thereof.
Check out the wrapping skills of Marko Klaric!
9. Festive Fashion
We love a nice, warm winter coat and fluffy Christmas socks. Let's see your best festive outfits this year with some portrait shots, like these three by Ali Pazani, Alex Green, and Godisable Jacob.
10. Father Christmas
Show us how you represent the jolly fat man that comes down out chimney every year through your photography.
Take a look at this photo by Treedeo Footage for inspiration.
11. A Gift for Santa
We all have to save a cookie or two to say thank you to Father Christmas.
What do you leave out for Santa?
Look at what Wendy Vanzyl and Nadi Lindsay have prepared.
12. Your Christmas
Show us how you plan to celebrate Christmas.
This is how Cottonbro and Monstera have portrayed their Christmas's.
