The Creative Photo Awards - the contemporary and artistic photographic component of the Siena Awards - consisted of 17 categories, and received tens of thousands of submissions from 137 countries.
Out of these 17 categories, the overall winner was selected from the "Open theme".
The overall winner of the 2021 Creative Photo Awards is Iranian photographer Masoud Mizraei with their photo, entitled: "The Lake".
Shot at Lake Urmia, the largest lake in the Middle East, this photo was selected as the Creative Photo Awards Photographer of the Year.
Each category winner will be showcased in the Siena Awards Festival exhibition "I Wonder If You Can" from October 23 to December 5.
Showcasing solo and group exhibitions of extraordinary shots from across the globe, the photographic festival will also be offering workshops, photo tours, seminars, screenings.
